Description
So some of you might have seen my Tiniest Breakfast submission from yesterday:I received a lot of comments thinking it was real and I felt bad. Then I received a comment on Tumblr that they thought something this small couldn't be possible. I decided to see if that, in fact, was true. Turns out it can be done!
I believe this would be 1:48 scale. The plate and food are all handmade from polymer clay. It took just under 45 minutes to finish, and no, it wasn't any more difficult to do than my 1:12 miniatures.
The last picture is the 1:12 plate of breakfast and the giant penny I used yesterday.

"Ah for fucks sakes". This is what I say every time your art gets smaller. (and it's in a good way)

Ok it's a cool work, but why do you make your stuff so tiny? Where's the purpose

They're made to scale for people who collect dollhouse miniatures to either use in their own dollhouse displays or room boxes.

WhoaΒ Β . How do you even see what you are working on? Do you use a magnifying glass or something?

Nope, no magnifying glass. I feel like it gets in the way too much.

The smaller food does have worse details than the bigger version, though that is to be expected.
So, great job!

This made me laugh out loud! I love how you as an artist saw people saying it wasn't possible and in your head you think "Challenge.... Accepted."

It was fun. I think I might be able to go smaller but I'll get to it another day.
