This work dragged on longer than expected, about 6 hours but I am rather proud of it, though not perfect I would like to think the design is a marked improvement upon previous works, the detail not necessarily so.

I have no idea why I chose to do a fat dragon... that can't fly, I actually think it looks like a cross between a crocodile and a goat (wierd huh?) maybe thats 'cause I've never seen either in the flesh before though.

There are many things I would do differently next time, i.e. I don't like the cluttered wings very much, the head doesn't stand out AS much as I would like, plus I ran out of ideas for textures so the bottom of the legs and arms look mediocre in my opinion.

I am particulary proud of the design and proportions, because I feel it looks very natural and nothing seems to look to big or small, again ignoring the wings which I feel were a mistake. I actually started this drawing with simply the right wing, and then developed a dragon from it, I thought the wing had a lot of potential, boy was I wrong? The rest I am proud of though... and yes, finally I have a proper orignal dragon uploaded to DA, thats all I wanted.

Please coment, complement and suggest areas of improvement
