Last in the series (at least for the mane six), is Twilight and her family! Nothing's changed about Thorax, but I think Twilight may have the most dramatic design update in my nextgen. She wears her hair more fancy, along with now always dressing in her princess garb. Most drastically, she's gained a gradient on her horn--it's my headcanon that alicorns who are made (like her and Cadence) as upposed to born that way, will eventually develop a gradient on the part that they were born with. They can pass this on to their alicorn children, hence Flurry's wing gradients and Alistair's horn gradient.

And speaking of Alistair! The royal pair are pictured here with their little changelicorn hybrid bug boy. Alistair is a clever, sly, playful prince, with a knack for causing trouble and charming his way out of it--especially when he gets older. He's often followed closely by his best friend, Prince Dream Catcher (Luna and Fluttershy's son), who Alistair takes great enjoyment in playfully pushing around.
