Description
It has been a very, very long time since I’ve drawn my CapperXCelaeno babies!! ...In fact, I never officially made them a thing in my nextgen at all... I’m, uhm, I’m not good at doing stuff.

But time to properly introduce Caerus (in Capper’s arms) and Cal (in Celaeno’s arms)! Honorable lil’ pirates like their parents ‘cept minus the honor—they aren’t a super big part of my nextgen universe, since they live on the road (er, in the skies) with their family, but as adults they do drop by Ponyville to cause trouble now and then!

For a wee bit more story, I am thinking about how this family came to be My work in progress idea for now is that after the Storm King’s defeat, Capper chose to leave with the pirate crew for a new life of adventure. He and Celaeno found each other attractive from the get-go and started up a casual thing. Over a number of years that casual thing grew into a less casual thing, and further into a proper relationship. They were together close to six years before Celaeno fell pregnant—something very, very, very rare for their two species to be able to do together without medical intervention, to the point that it was commonly assumed to be impossible, and as such they hadn’t been, er, actively trying to prevent it. Two eggs came of it, followed by a nervous waiting game—nobody was fully certain that they would hatch. But at last they did! And from them came bizarre little twin boys, half cat, half bird, but all around adored by their only semi-unprepared parents. Some time later, when the boys were about three or four, Capper and Celaeno officially tied the knot.

(Also, those babies are covered in random patches of fur and feathers, making them both extremely soft and deeply weird to the touch )
