This is my contest entry for The rules are to draw your favorite scene from the film/novel. My favorite scene of course is the end, when Pascal reveals himself and gives a speech of his ideals, some I agree with, some I don't.Related content

I could never forgive Pascal for killing all those cats without any reason to do it, but I can only agree with what he said in this scene. I don't think all humans are mean though but some/a lot ??? of them are! tbh I understand he became mad enough to attack and kill the scientist

Loved this particular scene, when Pascal revealed his true identity (Claudandus) and exactly what drove him, which is to say, "Absolute batshit insanity."
His plan had zero chance of working. But it spread death and misery wherever it stretched its inky little tentacles. Frankly, at the point of the speech depicted above, he was just making excuses for himself. He ultimately was like Frankenstein's monster: Created from death and torture and misery, he destroyed everything he touched when loosed upon the world.

This is quite philosophical. The words remind me of Ozymandias (Adrian Viedt) of Watchmen while Pascal/Clawdandus himself remind me of Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious.
