Actually, its not like this at all.
Most people forget that in Story shift, everyone still has their original, Undertale personalities. Toriel and Asgore, in the story, were already friends with King Sans.

Almost all wrong but Storyshift does still have a little bit of their personalities in Undertale except a bit of the Character's personality which the switch places with like Chara still loves chocolate but the way Chara talks is more like Sans and is lazy as Sans. Sans in this AU is still Sans but with a lil bit of Asgore in him. He does care for everything even though he's lazy,he has a boss monster soul and he still tells jokes but rarely. So,yeah,Toriel with a huge fighting spirit from Undyne cause why bloody not. It suits her,kinda. XD
