Quebec, an autonomous dominion and tributary to the British Empire, has begun rapidly expanding across the North American continent. However they will eventually be stopped at the Cascades, which are largely controlled by the British Athapaska Pacific Trading Company, and the Dominion of Athabasca. Quebec has embraced their cross-cultural heritage largely consisting of French and Huron-Wyandot roots, and is the only largely francophone dominion under the British Empire.
Quebec had also fought a war against New England for control of the Maine territory, which was home to thousands of Acadians who had avoided dispersal and expulsion over 190 years ago in the 1720's.
By 1910, Quebec is making a gradual transition from monarchy to a parliamentary republic.
