Description
The idea for this world starts in a post-apocalyptic Europe. It could be anything; nukes, alien invasion, no-one knows. No one on the inside, anyway. The Citadel was built with the immense wealth of the Papacy and those who supported them, in the event of a vision from God. When the end of days came and the sky became red, it's said, the Citadel released a powerful shield that has since let no one in, and no one out. Year of our Lord 2477, and this is how the world remains. Isolated, the peoples within united under the common tongue of "New Latin" (which is really just the Ecclesiastical Latin dialect used by the Catholic Church.) Wars happened immediately after, especially in North Africa, however it later came to be that all were "purified", converted to the way of the Lord. No one yet knows what it's like outside. but some have wondered. wondered indeed.
