Description
when the light of day departsand stars and moon replace
the wicked summer sun;
when the artificial glow of
neon and streetlamps
illuminate the city in all its splendor,
find me on the corner, waiting for you.
when the endless drones of passersby
make their way across the boulevard,
engaged in idle discussions centered around
politics, religion, and the cosmos
and the spell of darkness
wraps humanity in its nocturnal throes,
find me on the corner, waiting for you.
seek me through the sea of faces;
through the haze of cars speeding by
upon paved roads slick with rain.
allow your eyes to wander
past the bustle of humanity
and gaze upon the shadow lurking
somewhere amidst the alleyways.
my melancholy, porcelain goddess,
when the beings bound to daylight
come out to play within the later hours,
find the solitary poet
as he stands with pen in hand
waiting to compose a verse for you,
his beloved one.

The submission problems seem to be centered around EDITING a submitted piece. I think just the submission process remains unchanged. I'm not willing to test right now, though.
