Description
1. an outdoor symphonycar cacophony
horn chorale and motorists
traffic on broad street
2. truth in advertising
always sunny in
philadelphia; meanwhile,
raindrops hit the ground
3. strolling through jfk plaza
ears perk at joggers
dog and owner play string games
tangled in a leash
4. a free gallery exhibit
an outdoor mural
masterpiece upon cement
welcomed graffiti
5. lost in a crowd
parade of faces
resemble winter snowflakes
no two are the same
6. and so, in closing. . .
immortal stranger
urban hymns flow forth from ink
smile of a poet

I love #2 and #6. The others are good, just not my flavor.

Those were my favorites as well, I must say. I favor the jfk plaza one, too, but the experience might be best labeled 'you would have had to be there.'

I would imagine that is true. Most places have their own flavor.

Quite so. I believe Philadelphia's flavor would be something in the cheese steak variety.

They are challenging, but I've grown fond of them.

Have to say... "Truth in Advertising" about sums up Philly in a handful of words.
Well written.
It's a shame I moved before the writer came to visit. I'd have really loved to spend time together :/

Ah, but the writer says this gives her the excuse to venture to Seattle. Perhaps she will deem fit to return something to me in the process.

Both of you are more than welcome to come out... it's a lovely city out here... but very, very addicting. I've yet to miss home.

The writer fancies Seattle quite a bit. Has been wishing an excuse to venture there.
I. . . am persona non grata there. My former employers are vexed with me a bit.

Ah yes... I remember that now.
Well, inform the Writer that if she wishes to come I would be more than happy to take a few days to show her what I've seen. If she feels like taking a trip Ninja's soon to be step-mother makes the world's best Thai food about an hour from here. And usually it's free.
She's the best Thai-Mom ever.

Thank you.
