little lost star,once a jewel in the nighttime sky.
you shone down on the world
and all became beautiful.
stolen gem,
the prized jewel of the guardian
whose heart you pierced and bled.
where have you been taken?
oh treasured possession,
once placed inside a pocket,
kept safe and sheltered.
nothing else compared to you.
oh gentle wind,
once the soothing breeze of
life and love and vitality.
you blew past and have not returned.
delicate flower,
in bloom, your petals were so colorful.
sparkling waves,
you crashed upon the shore, a calming melody.
little lost star,
blotted out by constellations;
by the radiant light of the moon.
stargazers search the heavens for you.
are you lost for good?
