The previous design in "3D" - I hope the perspective is not off too much...
I have followed Mick's suggestion and changed the shape a bit. a brand new "propper" version will follow later today

Ah, I know what you mean! I don't think this one looks too much like a pokemon though, It was more inspired by a manta ray and liopleurodon rather than anything else...

You're very welcome. Do you have a way to video chat, like Skype, Fring, Facetime, and whatnot? I'm wondering because it would be so cool to put a face to the dude who makes these origami masterpieces and undoubtedly interesting pieces of traditional artwork! Let me know somehow, and maybe, someday soon, we'll have a chat face to face...sort of! Oh, did you think of putting siphons or some sort of organic suction mechanism in or around this beasties chompers?

Politics... I abhor politics.... On a different note, you're a rather handsome dude, and nice beard, I hope to cultivate one half as nice someday! As you can see in my bio, I basically don't care about my beard, I just let it do how it does, and that is that, and forget anyone who calls me Wolfman and what not.

Well, I don't blame you, really. The US has really rotten politics...
Now granted, There are nowhere near exceptional politics in the Czech Republic either, but at least abortion, contraception, gay rights and gay marriage are not an issue here. I despise hypocrites that use religion as an excuse for their hate towards certain things or groups of people and I wanted to show a little compassion and empathy to the people in the US this way.

Thank you! this one would be only slightly larger than a record-breaking manta ray, but it would be heavier because of it's bulkier shape and ossified skeleton

Thanks for pointing that out, there was something "not right" about this but I couldn't quite put my finger on it
Luckily, small adjustments will solve thes!

That's whats been bugging me about these guys, it took me a while to see it, honestly I think it's more of a stylistic choice, many cetaceans have their eye quite near the lead fin, I guess necks are not really such useful things to a large filter feeder, I think in my mind you've gone a bit too close for comfort? I love the concept though, and they are good creatures

I think so too, I think I've really placed the flippers too close to the eye, even though whales have the flippers quite close to the eye either. Not "that" close though
