One of yesterday's CPs revealed.A bit of a disappointment, really, I underestimated the thickness of the paper and only cared about the color this time around. I thought I could get away with using a thicker paper, but apparently not.

Well, wrong paper choice. A beautiful color (which is what swayed me in the first place), but absolutely unusable for something as complex as this.
As a result, the legs are thick and stumpy (instead of thin and spindly-looking) and I couldn't shape the model at all.

Just look at this as a first draft rather than the final design. So itβs not a failure and merely something to learn from and improve upon.

Did you not intend the swirls at the base of the leg and did they happen because of the thick paper? Cause I actually love that effect

Those are just the pleats showing. They'd still be there, just thinner, if I'd used a thinner paper.
