Description I've been busy this past month chasing fall colors and planning future trips to new locations. This is an image I shot a few days ago after a week of slogging through miles of creeks and forests around northern and eastern Arizona. This spot happens to be one of my favorite locations to shoot. When I decided to head out, it looked gray and cloudy all over, but I noticed a small break to the west. This meant a good chance for an explosive sunset. After arriving I scouted out a few compositions and ultimately settled on this as the green algae and green grasses complimented the cliffs and the orange sky and orange tinted water. It was one of the better sunsets I've seen recently, and I am glad I pushed myself to get out for it.
