I scoured the area looking for the exact location I needed to be for this shot using only a map that I saw when getting off the Brooklyn Bridge after a nice long walk over that one. It probably took me an hour after giving up for the same shot of the Brooklyn (which I'll be returning to get in due time), but I found the prime spot for this shot. Now if I would have paid more attention, I would have seen the Empire State Building through the legs of the bridge... sooooo, there's another reason to go back, and with a few different lenses on the next visit.

If you get back there, there's another spot from just about under the Manhattan Bridge
where you can get a nice shot looking back at the Brooklyn Bridge. bridge under bridge

Thanks. I haven't been down there in some time. It was all under construction for some time. I was down there not too long ago after everything was open... but without my camera. I do plan on getting some more shots there soon.

I spent a good amount of time walking around the neighborhood looking for it. I couldn't get it wrong after all that time. Thank you for the kind words. One of my best I think so far... Not to sound too cocky.. one must recognize a good shot though when they take it.
