Description
Photo taken at Bayard Cutting Arboretum - Great River, N.Y.This image is exactly as it was exposed.
The only adjustments made were to image size and dpi's.
I shot two very similar images. I had a hard time deciding which one to post as a deviation. I chose this one. The other image I am uploading as a scrap.
Do you agree or disagree with my decision?

This reminds me of when I was younger and would look up at the sky through the tree's and feel soooo small.

In the winter I feel cut off from all that but I love how spring brings our conciousness of nature back I don't wear shoes outside all summer, even in stony ground. You'd think my feet would get rough but they don't. I've been doing it since I was little so I guess I just learned how to walk gently. They say that earth is conscious. I was drunk one day yrs back and made a freind get out of the car to hug a tree. I ended up pushing him down a ditch to do it because he was resisting. Ever since then he has called me "you godamn tree hugging hippy".....lol

Maybe...I was born in 73 so I might not have missed it last time around if it works that way. Who knows...could have even been a casualty to being born in the right decade and that is why I am much safer this time around. lol

Tough decision between the two. I think this IS the better - more sky color & less lens flare. I DO like them both though. Lots of interest

That's funny - the one thing I liked the most about choice number two was the lens flare, lol...

That's one of those things you can either go with or avoid, like you said...tough decision...they're so close! It's one you'd have to flip a coin over! They BOTH are good!

I was fortunate, actually. My ex never tried to claim alimony. Child support was (is) enough...

I don't think alimony comes into play anymore uinless there's a couple of million laying around. And yeah, child support is PLENTY! Too bad it always has to boil down to who "wins" and money.

As divorces go, ours was pretty civil, I guess. It could have been a lot worse!
