Shot at Jones Beach State Park around 4 pm Saturday afternoon, during a short, but much needed, relaxing visit to the beach: I was just off the boardwalk, about 200 yards from the surf, just soaking up some warm rays in the cool, on-shore breeze.Photo autoadjusted for levels in Photoshop.

Would that it were so...the band-aid was the result of one of the two biopsies I had done a few weeks ago: I have basil cell carcinoma - skin cancer, but of the mildest variety - they are mainly concerned with the one on my right temple. I have an appt. on Friday morning to discuss the (minor) surgery involved in its removal.
