Yes, I consider this to be a "Still Life". While it depicts life, per se, that life is - at that particular moment - "Still".Captree State Park, N.Y.

Ooh, I do like this. It jumped out at me when I saw it under "recent deviants".
Although, one teensy little thing. I understand what you've said in the description, but this really isn't a still life. Mislabeling your art makes it harder to find for those who are looking for something like it.
Anyway, very nice composition and I love the subject matter (seagulls and pigeons... my favorite).

Thank you for the kind comment! In light of your suggestion I will definitely reconsider its classification. ) It was also part of a 4-part experiment, of sorts, which is why I grouped all 4 photos into the same category.
