Description While watching and photographing an osprey (also known as fish hawks) eat a fish while perched on a branch, high up in a tall pine tree, I suddenly saw something fall to the ground beneath him. When I walked over to take a look this is what I saw...

I know it's not the most appealing picture but I think it's an important part of the natural world. Not every photo has to be about beauty..."Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, this bird ate one fish and it had to die..."

Have you seen the digital artwork and photo manipulations I've posted? They're as different from my photography, I feel, as different can be. Besides, it's good to keep you on your toes, lol!

I have! I like the cloud and moon one, and the CBS Eye series. I especially like the manipulation collage of the house! I find I don't care for the colors usually associated with photo manipulations & fractals. The extreme colors don't do much for me. They miss the subtleties I find most attractive in any art. That's why I only work in Apophysis, the gradients are much easier to control. And yes, your photo DID keep me on my toes! Backing up, that is...then leaning forward to make sure it was what I thought I saw! Surprise!
