It's not that I necessarily like them, it's just that death is a part of life - one that is too often ignored or over-looked.

I find that kind of stuff neat, also, but this one was in the early stages of decomposition (as you can see by the swollen innards peekin out by it's rear legs) and I don't have the stomach for messing with anything like that..

well yeah rotting dead things.. stink, pardon the pun i guess... what i used to do (before my husband gave me dirty looks) was get a shovel and move the dead thing to an ant bed to speed things along. i have two racoon skulls, a cow skull, and a deer.. maybe a goat. i cant tell....... plus a very very large canine tooth from a very large predator.. found it in clay sediments along an old road.
