Thank you! I am definitely "seeing" more sharply than I have in years, and it is so rewarding to be able to share what I envision and attempt to capture digitally.

I do believe there is a passion building inside of you could it be true?
Passions are so great. With an interest you can do a little.....passion demands greatness.

Yes, it is building! And I think it's being recognized, even in day-to-day meetings with people. On the train ride home last night I found a seat with an ac outlet for my computer, about three rows away from this woman - my nearest "neighbor" on the train. She started flirting with me, half drunk as she was. I mostly ignored her until she found someone else to talk to. Later during the ride the (male) conductor tried doing the same! At first I didn't recognize it, but my gaydar quickly went up and I gradually gave out enough signs that I wasn't interested that he finally took the hint.
Needing to decompress after a long ten days - and an unsettling yet thought provoking train ride - I stopped at a local bar on my way home, something I've done maybe 2 or 3 times over the last three+ years that I've lived here. The bar maid - a very lovely and young looking mother of a two year old son (her name is Katrina...like the hurricane, lol!) - struck up a conversation with me. I guess the old adage that the third time's the charm really works. We had a nice talk before I had to leave, as I was exhausted. I just may have to revisit that place soon
!
As for today, I already had one call for work (late last night - which I luckily missed), so I plan on taking the field trip I delayed from last Thursday, when I filled a last minute work call.
Enjoying the passion - striving for greatness!

You are too kind! Not 15 minutes after I arrived at Old Westbury Gardens - my field trip today - did my phone ring. I ignored it, as I could tell from the phone # that it was the head of the CBS service crew, and that he probably wanted me to come in asap for work. I finished the soup I had just purchased and called him back 20 minutes or so later: Sure enough, he wanted to know if I wanted to work...Having just finished working 10 days in a row (and missing
a late night call last night from a guy at Fox TV) I told him I was busy.
PS I had a great field day and beautiful weather!
PSS Can I get some whine to go with that cheese? Lol...

Soon you will be able to take a vacation?

I ended up having three days off last week - plus I'm off today - so it's been sort of a "mini-vacation". I really can't afford to turn down work too often but I'm trying to keep a healthy balance between work and health - and I'm succeeding.

I actually did work yesterday and the night before: Tuesday night, from 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM at CBS; took a cab to NBC, slept three hours on a couch, and worked outside for the Today show from 3 am until 10:30 that same morning. Got home, took a nap, had a sammie and drove to the arboretum.....I don't feel guilty at all about turning down work for today as I had worked 6 days straight and have Fri. thru Sun. already booked, with more crazy hours sure to incur. I'm not complaining - just happy that the phone continues to ring and that I can, once in a while, just say no to work, with no recriminations!

I agree, you deserve time to decompress! I was begining to wonder what had happened to you, it'd been a little quiet. But it sounds as though you were just a little bit busy! Glad you found time to get away and take a few more of these gorgeous photos!

LOL! If only...not 20 minutes after I wrote that the phone rang and, me being the whore that I am, went to work - again! Ruined my planned field trip but I got 8 hours pay for 4 hours work...plus I got home in time to go to the beach and take some pix
