I travel there every year to do book signings. Think it's July 28th this year. I just remember that downtown is a lot of cement and very hot!

Thanks! It was a neat sunset (although I did enhance the saturation a bit in Photoshop). Dad's doing pretty well - thanks for asking! He started chemo on Wednesday and seems to be handling it pretty easily, so far.

hehe yeah I noticed you mentioned about saturation. Look into curves next time too. That does some cool stuff to clouds

Well, the circumstances could have been better: This shot was taken from my dad's hospital room, the day after he had a third of his right lung removed due to lung cancer. He's doing pretty well but starts chemo tomorrow. Also, the colors were over-saturated some in photoshop.
