my cats constantly meow. It's so cute. The way they do it is almost like speach. I meow back at them and they seem to understand.

did I tell you we just got a dog a couple weeks ago? I am soaked from giving him a bath. He is a shepard chow mix and is really well trained. If only it didn't take an hour to bath him...lol I wash him really well 2 times....rinse really really well......then condition and leave on for a little while (the conditioner helps get the last of the doggie poo smell out and makes his fur shine) and then rinse that really well.

They were absolutely terrified for a couple days. Now sierra stalks him, yoda watches him, and buddha is trying to figure out how to play with him. Poor Buddha got fixed a couple of days after we got him. I was worried he was going to think the world had crashed all around him. He's right back to his old self though so no worries

I am hoping my girl cat is pregnant. Buddha finally figured out how to work it a week before he was fixed. Sierra is usually pretty much in constant heat but the last few days she has been sleeping a lot and completely not in heat. That's a first. Jeff has been saying he definately does not want her to have any kittens but I think secretly he wouldn't mind

One of my cats had kittens in my apartment 25 years ago - my ex was there and got to witness it, and help the tired Mom with the last of the 5 new-born.

I understand, I think...You probably want to witness the miracle of birth. One of the biggest regrets I have is that I wasn't allowed in the delivery room during my daughters' births, as my ex had to be sedated for what they classified as an emergency C-section (Caitlin was only 4 lbs. 8 ounces at birth and spent a week in the neonatal intensive care unit, before she reached 5 lbs). I did get to see them before my ex did - and Caitlin smiled at me as she was brought out of the delivery room, while Cristin looked angry, more than anything else...go figure.
