Description
In the morning I uploaded one concept (Polar Bear - scifi handgun ) for scifi scenario I did yesterday. Had different plans for today but crazy weather has taken control over my country. So we stayed locked down in the house by blizzard for whole day. I took that concept, made re-combination in structure and created another similar one. Just changed it, not radically and added display to bring some difference. Both are not too complicated. Expression is held by few curved lines in minimalistic style. Here it is. FUDO. This concept is bulet free design. Work has been made in 3ds max + vray as rendering engine. Completed in Photoshop. Picture is larger to see details.
So what do you think. Do you like it or not? tnx for comments if any. bye.

Anyone who owns a weapon as deadly as a gun should have enough training to pass any learning curve, so, no. Basically what you're saying is, you don't mind if a weapon is shitty as long as any dumb shit can pick it up and use it without an prior knowledge? When you have guns like that, you get kids finding mummy and daddy's guns and killing them(/selves) by accident.
Do you even read what I say? You said, "In this case, the battery is actually a part of the handle." And I replied, "If the battery is a part of the handle, then that is a design flaw. I would want to be able to replace the battery much like a magazine." I certainly never said that would be a disadvantage... But I think I just figured out why you think I meant that. The magazine is not a part of the handle on modern handguns. It is a separate part that fits inside. Like, say, a battery. My earlier point was that, because on Peter's gun the part is a battery and not a magazine, it doesn't have to be shaped like a magazine because it's not designed to carry bullets. Ok? Good. Thank you.

If you would want to replace the battery like a magazine, then how is it a "design flaw" by being part of the handle?
That statement completely contradicts itself.
There's no reason it's not allowed to have a shape similar to a magazine, also.

A magazine is not a part of the handle. Like I said, it is a separate part that fits inside the handle. I never contradicted myself.
I also never said that it's not allowed to have a shape similar to a magazine. I just pointed out that, given that it doesn't have to function the same way a magazine does, it doesn't have to be the same shape and size. Have you perhaps noticed that, even now, there are lots of different shapes and sizes of batteries? Whereas magazines are all variations on how to group a lot of bullets and have them move from point (a) to point (b).

Just to clarify: When I said "part of the handle", I meant housed within the handle.
Actually, speaking in your own terms, I could say that "the magazine-like geometry surrounding each battery is NOT part of the battery !" Hehehe. See what I did there? Like I said, there's nothing wrong with having a battery shaped similarly to a bullet magazine. It's common for battery housings to come in all different shapes and sizes specifically to fit in certain places, so this is no big deal.
If it functioned like magazine, that would be a huge convenience, actually. An advantage.

Oh so you meant something different from what you said. That explains a lot.
Yes. If it FUNCTIONED like a magazine, in that you could replace it when it was drained. This is what I have been saying since the beginning. It doesn't have to be the same shape as a magazine to do that! It could well be a shape that works better with the rest of the technology of the weapon! Because it doesn't have to be the shape of a magazine, because it doesn't have to move physical bullets from one place to another.

Then please, make and present a concept of a shape that would be easier to replace and store more of outside the weapon. -_-

"Obviously". Still leaping to conclusions, I see. Just because I've wasted too much time trying to educate you already and I don't feel like sharing ideas I don't have any? Yep. Sure. Bye.

Hehehe you literally have NO IDEAS at all! I like how you spend all this time criticizing a very specific aspect of a concept, yet you have absolutely nothing to show as an example of what you think would be better. Truly pathetic.

I have no ideas? You're the one who looks at something that has existed for hundreds of years largely unchanged and thinks, that's the only way it can ever look!
A gun with a structure like a katar. Boom. Done. A glove gun. A gun that looks like your face so that no one will ever suspect it is capable of anything.

Doesn't matter what my take would be- you're the one criticizing this certain aspect of the design so much, so the fact that you have no ideas for an alternative just makes you look like a fool who nitpicks things just because he/she can without having anything to back their statements up.

It's clear you don't understand the concept of criticism.

Oh, I do.
It's clear that you don't understand the concept of knowing what you're talking about. Don't "critisize" somehing to suggest it could be "improved" if you yourself have no clue how this improvement could be made.
That's not critisim. That's being an idiot.

Now this is what I call a creative design. And it looks good at that! The modelling and texturing is superb.

This is a really cool design. It looks ergonomic (comfortable grip) and for some reason it looks like it would not weigh very much. Is it an energy projectile?
Awesome modeling and render.
Are any of your models available for others to use? I'm working on a sci-fi comic and it would be a lot of fun to use this in a scene.
Keep up the great work!

hi. To not look too heavy I preffer to use plastic material instead of classic way- steel. I dont mind people use my work if it is non-commercial project.

That makes sense, it's a nice use of texturing to really convey how the weapon would feel in your hand.
That sounds fine. The comic is a personal project that I'm doing for fun. Is the model available for download somewhere?

It's going to be hard to use my headset with that 3.5mm jack all the way in the front of the unit.
I hope at least the battery is removable, for I cannot see any microSD slot there, nor flashlight.
Does it support OGG too?
