Description
More people suggested me to make laser gun so here it is. Concept of laser rifle. Objective was to make shine solid metal piece from the sci-fi future. It works with light beam not with projectiles and therefore there is no recoil. Instead of stock I use its place as handle.I uploaded more pictures of this project. There are pictures from various angles and sizes + wireframes of model in my gallery.
All work was done in 3ds max + vray as engine. Model is highpoly. Structures of model is visible in wireframe posted in my gallery.

I dont know man. I think it's something about how compact it seems and how the barrel sort of melts togeather with the handle. The barrel itself is so simple and the handle is detailed as hell... It makes it look sort of like a giant silencer has been attached to it. At the same time it looks like the sort of gun that wouldnt need a silencer since it packs too heavy of a punch to be able to be silenced. Don't ask me why, but all these things combined just really appeals to me... + it's blue, which is unique for what im used to (and blue is also my favorite collour
The only thing i guess i woulda changed might be the kind of projectile it has... It looks sort of like a shotgun to me, so some sort of projectile with a huge spread woulda been awesome!

I did it as rail gun. it fire beam of light. and interior of barrel is detailed but I didnt render it after all. when you look at the wireframe picture: [link] then you'll see detaild better then on normal pictures. bye.

looks great, but wouldent the arc behind it make holding it a bit akward? ah well just a thought, looks great once again

dont know. on the other hand arc behind is movable. when you extend it you can use it as a shoulder.
