Heh anyways I was wondering could you upload that pic of the possums and the pigs that was plastered about in the first few levels. I thought that was a funny pic that made it in the game. It was the pig propoganda to show they were good guys and they worked hand in hand with the possums.lol

Axel! I don't recall seeing this picture anywhere in the game or elsewhere. This is a well-thought design, there's so much "villany" in him! The smoke coming from the jetpack, the bruised armor, the eyeline, everything!
Art-wise, I'd say this is the best picture of your Rocket Knight series.

It's been 4 years now since you actually posted this artwork up and replied to my commentary, but there's something that I'm really burning to ask and you can blame a friend of mine for this.
The sword Axel is using... my friend is pretty much interested in a lot of things like martial arts and swords etc. and he said that the sword looks actually very familiar to him. In fact it reminds him of Flamberge (= Flame-bladed sword): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flame-bl…
I really don't want to get on your nerves Mr. Lumby, but can it be that Axel's sword was sort of inspired by the Flame-bladed sword by any chance? Or is it just big coincidence that they sort of look similar?
