if i am understanding you correctly, i would just like to use the style in my art. i'm not very interested in writing comics ^__^ i just really love the way marvel portrays the human figure.

Right, I understand. It just takes a bit of time and patience... took me years to ink good enough to get paying work, now I'm penciling too. I don't expect to perfect my penciling style overnight...I'm in training!

Commissions are a way to start, doing prints of your work are another way.
