EDIT: Wow! 100 favourites? How the hell did this happen when I just quickly scratched down some doodles on a paper and shaded them? @_@I feel like celebrating and yet not copying Banished Prince's +100 traditions so I'll think about it ....
I can give a million examples on why Zuko should never be put in a situation where him telling a lie is vital... things as "YES we're travellers!" and "We were part of... this... travelling... circus" are just a few of them. It amused me in the latest episode when Azula asks him if Aang is still alive and he takes so much time to be quiet and have a flashback, turning his head dramatically to think... no wonder Azula's the one in control.

Yeah I'm not good at shading and so not pretending ... but I'm so much worse at colouring, so shading it is.

Well, the thing is I can't figure Photoshop and layers out so it either becomes colouring with no background, or colour with oddly dissolved lines... it's complex >_<

Well, he hesitates and that's taken as an "I'm about to lie to your FACE". I think of it that way too.
But at least it says something in his favor: he's too naturally honest of a person to lie comfortably, unlike Miss Prissyliarface. This means he has honor in that way.

Heh don't get me wrong, I love Zuko, I'm accepting the fact that he's really bad at some things, such as lying, girls, manual labour... it's only funny quirks that make me love him even more n_n

I think what's the most common physical attraction is his asymmetry. Perhaps people don't realize it, but that's probably why.
