I only just learned that on my most recent playthrough a few months ago, and I felt really foolish about all the Pikmin I had lost to it before...

I don't think I ever ended up trying challenge mode, though I'm confident my skill level isn't anywhere near being able to get that.

Watching playthroughs of some of the challenge levels has been lovely, though the timed nature of ‘em would likely stress me out a lot. The Boss challenges would probably be great practice though, I play the game and encounter them so infrequently that I never quite got the hang of some of 'em.
