If you haven't seen the movie I'd suggest you would go and see it. Being a fan of the original film series years ago it is great to see a far superior re-boot. Apes on horses with guns, what more could you want out of a movie

It is a great movie

It sure is, better than Rise in my opinion, although Rise was good
(It's like how Aliens was the true successor to Alien, Dawn is the sucessor to Rise)
I've also been reading the tie in book Firestorm, so far it's been pretty interesting and it goes into more detail of why Koba despises humans the way he does.
