Heh heh, howdy y'all!I've always loved the third gen Pokemon games (Emerald was my first run), and I finally managed to get my hands on a copy of their remakes
I never really liked Shroomish when I was young (heck, it's butt-ugly) but when it evolves, damn... Best decision in my life haha. So ofc I had to train up a Breloom in my Omega Ruby file haha.Gosh, he's just so darn cute, not to mention his fighting moves kick an awful lot of magma butt haha.
This drawing is something a little different to what I usually draw (I tend to refrain from drawing too much fanart) but I just had to draw this guy. There's just something about his body shape that makes it so fun to watch haha. Idk, now I sound sort of creepy haha.
But did anyone notice my failed attempt at foreshortening? haha. As Weresdrim wisely pointed out, it looks more like a T-rex, which is true, now that I look at it again xD Ah well. Let's just call it practise xD
You know what made me really happy though? So apparently before Pokken was a thing, someone had been working on 'Pokemon Wild'. It's a fantastic game where you fight Pokemon just as though it were a fighting game. I highly suggest you guys check it out. While it will probably never be updated, what's already there makes a solid enough game. Although I do wish that there were more Pokemon options available... But at least Breloom is in it, and boy are his animations cool haha.

I've played most of them, except for Gen V and Gen VII.
My favorites though... Mostly Gen III because it carried
So many of my favorite Pokemon, such as Combusken, Gardevoir,
Absol, Flygon, and Swellow. All of them still useful to me
after all these years. Gen VI is a close second. It got me
into playing competitively.

Hmm, I loved Gen III as well 
But I think I liked Gen II best due to how much it added to the franchise, yet it was still simplistic in its story and art (I love pixel sprites)

Breloom is so great! if I hadn't picked Treecko as my starter in Alpha Sapphire, I would've gotten a Breloom to support my team. oh well, I have Omega Ruby now, I can use one on that game.

Haha, in my first ever runthrough, Treeko was also my starter :3 But really, you can make Breloom a more focused fighting-type. That's what I did haha. Actually, my team atm is rather silly. I have both Blaziken and Breloom... Two half fighting types xD Oh well.

I bought OR because I'd gotten too attached to the mons on my save file on AS. I prefer AS, but they're both really good.
I didn't need a fighting-type on my team in AS, I already had two fighting-type moves on another mon, so I didn't need a Breloom. I'll defs get one in OR tho.

Hmm, Mightyena aren't all that great later in the game, but I've been able to keep them until maybe the third or forth gym. I certainly love their design, so maybe that's why I keep going back to them haha. And Poochyena's cry makes me laugh every time
Ah, I've never used a Roserade nor Togetic :/ In my current run, I did eventually get an Altaria but it sort of sucks atm :/ I also had the aim of evolving a trapinch to a Flygon and I finally did it! But.. it sort of sucks atm as well xD

I remember when Gen III came out. All of my friends were convinced that Mightyena was the 4th legendary dog. lmao I don't manage to use Rosenrade all that often, but every single time I make a run through Platinum Togetic is in my party from beginning to end. Yeah, Flygon definitely takes some tempering to make him usable, but I always end up teaching mine earthquake and it usually ends up being a one hit KO.

Ah fair enough. I've never really played 4th gen. Took too long for the battles to end, so grinding was really boring.

True, but 4th gen, at least for me, is when the story starts to pick up and things become really interesting. Like, going to reverse world to fight Gratina is really fun for me. Yeah, Flygon is definitely a cutie. Glaceon and Leafeon give him a run for his money, though. lol
