Drawn and coloured with coloured pencils on A4 paper, and scanned with crappy scanner... (my poor, poor semi-decent quality)

Perfect? Ha ha XD I thank you for thinking that, but it is far from so ^^
Don't be jealous! I've been drawing for almost a year now (officially, as opposed to random doodles). It also helps to just watch animals as they move around. You'll be surprised at how much you pick up!
