Ha ha ha... That was not difficult because I am a little crazy. BTW, I had the time to see him coming and they are not so dangerous if you don't bring food with you.
The best : he was eating some grass

Trip = fall over something (in my case the smallest thing to trip over)

Ha ha ha... You can't trip
But look at this bear... Go give him a little hug (oups... no more arms )

enko97 In reply to phalalcrocorax [2012-03-15 22:35:35 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, now when I took a better look there is a little glow of love in his eyes.. But still, I think that I'll skip the hugging this time

How are you doing honey?

I'm not so sure that I have so many of good news, it's more like that it's outweighing on the side of the bad news.. I'll write to you tomorrow, OK?

And your english is not bad sweetie! Here are two quick corrections: witch = should be which, and "thing" should be in plural here.

Good night! Sending a bear hug!

Don't worry, me too When he stood up, he was 3m high and he was a small one.

I am not doing well, not at all... because I made a mistake : thinking that someone you find on the internet and with witch you share lot of thing can become a real friend... and it seems it is not the case.
I hope that you are OK... I am always happy to hear good news from friends, virtual or real.

A man, sorry, I've answered under a wrong note!

Thanks a lot for your message. (Wrong note ??? You sent it to someone else ???)

That is strange... good things happen but when you have too many bad news at the same time, it is hard to feel happy. Feel free to answer when you have the time to, now it is time to sleep.

And about my English, I really want to improve it, exactly the way I try to improve my French THANKS A LOT for your corrections, it is so helpful

Yeah, a bear hug is the good one now But for me, it will be a night without sleeping I had a huge amount of work, but as most of them are related to photography, I am still happy

Don't stay up too late, OK?

He took my leg... so quite close

I came close but not dangerously close. 20m... and after, he goes away.

Did you meet a bear too ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SaKoz-Unleashed In reply to phalalcrocorax [2012-03-16 11:59:23 +0000 UTC]

Nope. Just lots and lots of reindeers when I was hiking in Lapland.

I don't actually meet that many wild animals while on foot. Just birds, rabbits and a few snakes and the like. I only see foxes, badgers and raccoon dogs when driving at dusk or night. And good thing I see them cause it would be a pity to hit them

I would like to meet a wild wolf from a respectable distance one day though.

I try to go again this year because it is a wonderful place to visit. I hope that you will have the opportunity too.

And you don't have only bears. You can for example visit Bering island. I made a gallery you can find here

Such beautiful photographs! I think I saw some of them when you first mentioned that you had posted them in that gallery, but I never realised that the island was in the Bering Sea You're so lucky to get so close to the wildlife there!

I keep(ed) in my hand
We have also with black band on head
When I was on the camp (bird camp) for 44days from 15.08 to 27.09 we caught some birds. When I'll go back from school I'll send U some photos

I suppose you were in a car; usually a bear on two legs sends a warning.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

phalalcrocorax In reply to bizarreblizzard [2012-03-15 23:36:11 +0000 UTC]

No, I was by foot. And he wasn't sending a warning, he was just curious at something he was not able to distinguish. In fact, bears haven't good eyes, so he stood on two legs, trying to smell my odour.

Bears from Russia are not dangerous at all if you don't bring food with you.
