I can stop to share them if you want
The best way to make them too is to find a place full of magpie (we have such place in Paris's gardens) and practice, practice again and again.
I made thousands of pictures of this bird to have this sharpness

You are right, the camera helps a lot, mostly to have a nice background.
In France, we have very shy animals and using a 300mm is the very minimum required. But as I live in a city, I can make bird pictures much more easily
Good luck to find a nice place to make the pictures you want

Oh my gosh that is a glorious photo of a magpie. I'd love to do a digital painting of that!

All of your work is just simply magnificent. I'm always inspired by photographers who capture nature as well as you do. So many beautiful animals, love all the color. Extremely well done! I also like the way you treat the background in your photos. Many look like a bokeh, or even a simple blur, maybe a stacked photo with a light layer of blur expect for the main subject. Very well done.

Thank you so much for your words.
For the background, I try to do my best to have it as far as possible to the subject And I use a fast telephoto-lens
So blurring the background is not very hard

Really makes the subject stand out. I'm working on a piece right now, once complete I'll do a link back to your photo with comments so others will be drawn to your original work. Thanks!!! Merci Beaucoup!

De rien/you're welcome
I can't wait to see the final result because you're skills in front of a magpie... it will be a great result for sure
