Description
This bird (dipper) is so amazing : he is able to swim even in the coldest water.This one was from Italian Alps, at 1700m of altitude. I spent some good times to photograph the couple. They used pine needles to make the nest (poor chicks
), in fact, they used the material of my own hide when I was in it.Picture done in 2008, when I was able to be in the hide at 5h15 in the morning

If you are talking about my small travel in the forest, it was just for one night... and it was just enough : so many mosquitoes (I still have some difficulties to get used to them), and so few animals
