I liked the sound of this Rolf Scamander chap! It conjured images in my mind of a self-proclaimed genius, nostrily over-enthusiastic knobbly-kneed man of action. Also, he would be a cross between Rolf Harris & the mad scientist/doctor guy out of Back To The Future (..anyway, back to work. I've actually had a pile of HP fanart growing steadily ever since the last book. Oh the shame).
As you can probably tell, I still hate doing digital inking ;-;

Ohshit it's adorable! Your style is perfect for Luna and captures the motion of the tableau nicely.
Oddly enough, this is almost exactly how I've always pictured Rolf, both physically and characteristically.

Love the attitude and the energy you were able to capture in this and the vertical composition feels really nice with the addition of the negative space. Since you asked for an 'Advanced Critique', the only thing that for me feels like it would strengthen it would be to omit the ruled lines. This could be done with Photoshop after the fact if that was just the paper you had to work with or, just as a personal thing, I try to carry a sketchbook with me at all times so that when I start something, even if I think it's going to be just a quick little doodle, if I want to finish it out, I can. As I said though, it's a great piece and that's the only addition I would think to make

Thankyou! I'm glad you like it. I'm actually a little shaky with editing out ruled paper (and with photoshop in general!), so thanks for the advice. It's half laziness/disorganization but I also quite like a messy, rough style; it's good to know if you feel it detracts from the work..

I think my mum showed me a pair of those glasses from my grandma's house once..I don't know where they went but they pinched your nose really hard in order to balance on the face! Guess they don't call them pince-nez for nothing 8D

Excellent! I feel you've captured a sense of motion here. Although, it might be a good idea to cut out some of the empty space at the top of the picture.... Unless you kept it there for a particular 'artistic' reason.
The details and expressions are also well done.

Thankyou! Ah you commented ages ago and I forgot to reply..sorry! Haha yeah I was playing around with framing the image in different ways, no particular reason for the white space, I just liked it best that way with the little rushing figures right at the bottom.
