Description
All of my characters were anthros when I was a kid, I watched too many cartoons. The rat is Skwod, the cat is Hydra, though I renamed her Tommy (- she's gone through several name changes so I figured one more couldn't hurt.) She's pretty much my oldest character ever. So they are married and stuff.
This prolly isn't worth a standalone deviaiton, kinda went wrong and I had to desaturate it etc. Fullview is small 'cos it looks crappy up close for some reason. :\

Humm... Your oldest character is a (non-human) girl. Curious. Mu oldest character ever is a vixen, eltough I imagine her, and always did, as a normal fox. But that may be because I utterly loved Disneys Robin Hood when I was a child, and still fell a lot of good vibes when I see the movie
But its kinda cool to see that I wasnt the only one coming up with animal and anthro characters when little

I used to love this cartoon called Bucky O'Hare when I was little, it was about animals in space...I think my character was probably inspired by the cat character from that, & maybe Miss Kitty from "An American Tail 2", which I had taped off TV. Oh, and Catwoman, I imagine. Heh. I think she was just called Cat Girl before she had a name
The other thing is that when I was a kid we learnt a lot in school about how human beings were harming the planet and hurting animals, so I sort of saw animals as being better than humans, in a way.

One cant help but avoid thinking about that when a kid. We are really devastating the planet's life. Altough I now believe that any other species, in our place, would do just the same. I dont believe them to be better than us anymore. Altough I truelly think that us, as the dominant species, should make a true effort to preserbe the life thats left. We did all of this devastation. We should start to responsabilize ourselves for it.
Some of the shows I remember more from my childhood are those like Biker Mice From Mars or SWAT Cats. We didnt had Bucky O'Hare in my country. I didnt saw any of the American Tail to the end, but I was very found of other Don Bluth works, specially The Land Before Time (the original).
The end 80s and the 90s did have a lot of cool things to see, now that I remember

Skwod is epiiic. Lulz. Yeah, he was the prince and warlord general of an evil empire, errm Tommy was sort of this spiritualist person. So it was like forbidden love. I think my brother and I made up this story when playing with Sylvanian Families
Eventually they have 3 kittens :3
