Description
My attempt to paint like Drew Struzan. I did this by looking at the video cover for The Last Crusade. I was fairly pleased with the result, until I saw the the movie poster. I was way off, but I still like the painting.Related content

Thank you. I don't have any real plans to start painting again, but I might try to get the same look on the computer.

There is never anything to be ashamed about when emulating Drew. It was my first guess when I saw it so I'd say it is a resounding success.

That should be an interesting movie. I wonder if they will set it in the 1960's?

This is kind of like Drew's work, but his style is very easy to pick out. I think this looks great though! Fave coming.....

It's a type of watercolor. It can be used opaquely, or more thinly like regular watercolor. I use
to use it for airbrushing.
Heres what it says about it on Wikipedia.

I knew it. I was told that it's a watercolor with the presence of white pigments that makes it more opaque. Which also makes it easier to lay a flat color evenly.
Thanks for the confirmation.
