Phantom: Thank you, thank you and welcome to Pokémon week here in the Gallery. That's right. This week will be nothing but Pokémon content from me. Starting with our first guest, one of my Favorite Pokemon... Pokemon #918, SPIDOPS!

Spidops: [Happy Spidops Noises]

Phantom: So full disclosure folks. I'm a typically a Water/Electric trainer. Rarely does my 'Core Six' include a BUG Pokemon. They're fragile, typically come with a second type the merely adds in extra weaknesses and the GOOD ones are usually rare as heck. But during my first steps into the Paldea region I encountered a ball of gooey web that I would call "Whiskers". I didn't think much of Whiskers at first, mostly he was just a slot filler until I found a better pokemon. But around level 15 he learned to BUG BITE. Which helped in more than a few battles.
* Spidops mimics biting *
Folks, you know me. I can't resist a cute girl. So it should come as no surprise that the first Gym Leader I challenged was IONO. Who apparently I was severely under leveled to fight.

Spidops: [Worried Spidops Noises]

Phantom: As this little guys can tell you, we were in for quite a fight. Lucky for me that little ball of fluff evolved into a hardened super SPY-DOR...

Spidops: [Cricket Noises]

Phantom: Ahem. For those of you who don't know Spidops learns a move called "Silk Trap" upon evolving. It's basically protect with the added bonus of lowering an opponents SPEED.

* Spidops Skitters off stage and returns with a bound CandyEvie *

Great demo buddy. As you can see after multiple uses of his silk trap my opponent's speed is drastically reduced. Couple this with a preemptive "sticky web" on the field and you will always have the speed advantage.

Spidops: [Proud Spidops Noises]

Candyevie: MMMH!

Phantom: Solid point. We here at getting away with it in now way encourage you to make Spidops your main Pokemon. No sir! He is at his best supporting your team. Supporting you!

Spidops: [Encouraging Spidops Noises]

Phantom: Spidops says you can do the thing! And if you can't he'll slow down your enemies so you can EVENTUALLY do the thing! Heck his defese stats will even take a hit for you!

Spidops: ['I would die for you' spidops noises]

Phantom: And when the going gets tough, Spidops will...

* Phone Rings *

Hello? Uh huh. You saw that? Ok. That's not what he says.. Mmm hmm. Aha. Ok. I'll tell him... Ok...

* Hangs Up *

Lilith says you still can't stay in the house.

Spidops: [Questioning Spidops Noises]
Phantom: Apparently you fall under her no spiders policy.

Spidops: [Dejected Spidops noises]

Phantom: It's ok buddy, we can call my friend Persimmon. I'm sure she has a place you can hang your webs.

Spidops: [Hopeful Spidops noises]

Phantom: Sure buddy you can keep CandyEvie.

CandyEvie: [Struggling CandyEvie noises]
