Y'all knew this had to be coming at some point, right? I mean, the most famous centaur girl on television? Of course I was going to draw her eventually.So, yeah, Centorea Shianus from Monster Musume, wearing a pretty sundress. Spent a couple hours drawing her this morning because my muse was obsessed with the general concept of "blond." Not any specific blond girl, or any real concept I could nail down, just "blond," so Cerea at least fit the bill.

Okayado made them that big because half the story is really just a running boob-joke: I'd like her character a lot more if the story surrounding her wasn't just a single running gag. Anyway, I drew them a little smaller because I think they look better a bit more proportionate; she's still recognizable, but she'd have fewer back problems like this >_>

They're just too big in the show. I shrank them a little here, but I think she's still pretty recognizable.

Yeah, I agree. It definitely does get out of hand a but much, but I'm glad they don't completely ignore it either, like most anime/manga.
And, if I may ask, what sparked up your interest in centaurs and other monster girls?

Uh... I've been obsessed with centaurs since I was like 12 years old. I remember seeing a picture of one for the first time, and something inside my head went, "OMGAMAZING," and I started drawing and writing about them. Then I read the first three Xanth novels (there were only a half dozen of those in existence at the time), and thanks to that, it was pretty much permanently cemented in my brain that the only pretty girls in the world had to have four legs >_>

Yeah, yeah, I know. I know she's paranoid about that, but she looks better like this. I don't know why she freaks out about it anyway: She was raised outside human culture, so there'd be no reason for her to need to cover there.

Except that Cerea wouldn't have that sensibility in place if it wasn't common in her culture already. Some like Rachnera and Doppel usually don't care about clothing and find it more-or-less a nuisance.
