I see we aren't going exclusively for the standard stuff.ย And we already hadn't anyway by now.ย Stay original, or at least use existing things that aren't often used.ย
Given the choice between being a living blob and being stationary until someone else rolls you around, being made of jello or something plasmic, and being a sentient plant with roots, which would you pick?ย I could not say offhand.ย I'd toss a coin for this one.
The previous this or that was much easier to decide.ย Between having two torsos being fused at their ends, a horse's neck to a human abdomen and the parts you'd expect from that point onward thus extra limb or simply losing your legs and receiving a tail, I'd take the latter all the way.ย Presuming centaurs really don't have the great flexibility and length a horse's neck has and can't reach their tail, the other surely has more reach-ability all around.ย Plus a tail does not break as easily a a leg would, and having more of them is a risk.ย ย
Actually, the two things I mentioned here have an advantage over the others: not looking human or like any animal at all, or the typical fusion or several things most creatures of myth are or a giant allows for one to blend in,to look normal even if said normal isn't that of an animal of any sort.ย One could look like a regular mass of gelatin, jello, mud, a boneless mass, a blob, whatever the plasma is.ย And a plant has less and fewer needs than most things and requires practically no maintenance.ย Even better, less susceptibility to harm is a perk of both verses any kind of animal or machine which constantly fall ill or break down.ย They were specifically designed and evolved for shock absorption and to withstand excess UV, cold, heat, water conservation that we must actively plan around.ย I'd say this is pretty damn lucky.ย Don't speak or anything like that and no one will know you're actually a person.
Is she muffled when she speaks?ย She has no mouth seemingly. I imagine only tone and melodious sounds and syllables and volume control would come out of somep-- somebody like that with no real comprehensive speech.ย Or telepathy.ย Similar thing to becoming a sentient plant.ย

I'd pick the plasma variant any time, just not mud or feces or something (ugh). Slime or jello seem good, or even better than (most) anything if one could control the plasma's properties.
