Description
This is for 's Contest. We had to draw a horse from a movie, book, anything like that. I chose Morello from the Chestnut Hill Book series
I only read the first one, but it was ok. So, here he is, all fancy smancy!! (oh, and I know this isn't as good as my last piece, but I hope its ok. The background sucks, and I only spent about a day on this, while on the other it took about a week 
)

I've honestly gotten lazy in backgrounds, and you pulling it off here like a pro is awesome! The colors and shadings are very vibrant and warm! I lover your equestrian's expression of maybe "bewildermant?" Kool job!

You've captured that expression perfectly, and that's some mighty pretty lineart! I like how you've used varying thicknesses to make it dynamic - it also gives a better sense of form than just flat lines. Your colouring is really improving too, you follow the direction of the hair/fur, which most people forget about and just scrub on colour
Backgrounds? Don't get too hang up on backgrounds - they'll come to you once you're confident in your drawing. Saying that, you are doing quite well, you recognise the basic principles of fore and background. Well done for even doing backgrounds!XD
