Here's my Lara Croft Tomb Raider final. You may notice that it's in black and white, while the WIP shows a color key. Here's the thing - this was just practice I have a model to do for Dominance War, 2 more to do for portfolio, a storyboard to continue (my WACOM skills are BACK, baby!) and textures for Star Fox Shadows of Lylat - I can't spend too much more time on this.

That being said, I'm totally happy with it as is, which is why I'm calling it final I mean, it's just totally sweet - the best 2D I've ever done, and it was just practice. Btw, there is a nice tutorial currently on 3Dtotal about this stuff, and it gets to the coloring part pretty quickly. Next time I attempt a 2D thing, I PROMISE (...I'm gonna regret this)it will have color. Need the practice doing the color

And at the end of the day, it's all about practice until I get a job...

Update: Even though the reference screen shot doesn't have it, I added a glare to the strap on her leg and her belts. It matches the leather(?) straps from her backpack now, and looks nicer overall. A bit OCD of me though, so I'm officially walking away from it now....
