"What is this?"

Sam looked to where Quorra pointed. They had been walking through the park for over an hour, and Quorra's child-like wonder still hadn't lost its charm. He had grinned to see her talking with a squirrel and trying to make friends, and now she was interested in the grass.

"That's grass."

"Grass?" Quorra scrunched up her nose. Sam couldn't help thinking how cute she looked like that. "What does it do?"

"Well...it's a ground cover."

"Like a carpet?"

"Sorta. It's made up of a bunch of blades, which I guess are sort of like carpet fibers."

"Blades?!" Quorra backed away. "Are they sharp?"

Sam covered a laugh.

"Nah. They're actually pretty soft. You can walk on it if you want."

Quorra bent down and skimmed the grass with her hand. It seemed safe enough. So she kicked off her shoes and tentatively stepped in the grass.

It was soft. She looked down at her feet to see her flesh covered in the blades. Quorra wiggled her toes and laughed, looking back up at Sam and tucking her escaping hair behind her ear.

"It tickles."

Just a fun little something that I came up with today.

I'm still experimenting with poses, and I think that I'm getting better at drawing hands.

Also, I love her outfit. I think it's rather cute.
