lol I dunno, I heard they were releasing it but sort of forgot- somebody here mentioned watching the first episode at some point- I just actually remembered to go look for it the other day. If the dubbed voices bother you, the Japanese audio is supposed to be released in November I think. Music and visuals are really nice, kept the original style- but it just jumps right in, no explanation, "Ok, you guys know what's going on, right? Well, if you don't, to bad."

lol I got the second series the other day, I have a teenage kid who literally grew up watching it, so was super excited and proceeded to give a running commentary to some friends who had no idea what it was...that was seriously the funniest thing I've heard in awhile.
