I. CAN. NOT. DRAW. HORSES.I tried and tried so hard to draw a horse.
They look easy, and they probably are for other people, but I seriously cannot get it right.
Here we are! A blood bay coloured horse for =Thowra-Egypt as a part of our character trade.
YES, the legs and hooves are majorly stuffed-up. But, hey, I tried

I think you did pretty good, apart maybe from gambrels and hooves, but hey, this comes with practice ^^ I don't draw horses too, so I've got precisely exact same problem. The rest you did well

Not so much an advice. My real one should be: use photos as refferences. I'm shamelessly doing it all the time, for everything actually xD

I do use photo references, just this one had the horse's feet covered so I couldn't see them

So use as many as you need, even if for one picture. Works done that way won't go to waste, 'cause you always learning

Like Coz said, what the hell are you talking about saying you can't draw horses? I think it's absolutely fabulous. I'm glad you actually drew it like i suggested, he's quite a pretty design.

Thank you, and I'm glad you like his design! I added a kind of lightning-bolt shaped marking on his rump, thought it looked cool.
