Description
Asante is the result of much determination and patience on behalf of Zuberi and Issa. Her birth is hard on Zuberi and a little traumatic, but he wouldn't give her up for anything once he's finally holding in her in his paws. As their only cub, Zuberi and Issa are very protective of their daughter. Asante is very energetic. So energetic she typically tires her cousins out, then her parents, and sometimes even knocks down Cas or Mkali before she can be found napping in Zuberi's paws or Issa's mane. She also constantly pesters Cas for early hunting lessons, wants desperately to learn, but her grandmother is firm that she will learn with her other cousins and age mates when she's older.

EDIT: Now that I'm taking Cas's story out of TLK I edited Asante, and she now has her grandfather Ekene's eyes.
