...Why am I not a planet?Inspired partly by a painting of the planets I saw recently that did not include Pluto as a planet.
I got a little overwhelmed with paperwork again today and needed to do some art. I don't normally do the opaque-with-no-lines style of painting so I guess it was good practise for that too.
I stink at painting... sorry... :/
Might move to scraps later.

....but... but... Mars rotates in the wrong direction too...
I know some people are happy he's gone, but still. His little gravitational pull was still enough to cause a wobble in Neptune so people knew he was there... Plus he has his own moon.
I'm not super militant "Pluto is a planet"... but I do continue to think of him as a planet.

Geez, this adorable. It was a little strange seeing Pluto go, even though one of my profs was super happy about it. (Which explains the science up there. I learnt it from him.

I kinda wish they kept the old definition of βplanet.β It would have been cool to have other planets added in, but I guess kicking Pluto out just kept everything simpler, darn it.

It's always going to be a planet to me! Poor thing. I think your painting did it justice though.
