Description I haven't had this bad a cinema experience since Transformers 4.. That was just... such an impressively incoherent, awful movie. Filled with random flashbacks, endlessless overly-dramatic nitty-gritty music, and not a single likable character... GOD I wanted Lex Luther to DIE by the end! Every time he opened his mouth I just despised his character. He was so painfully ANNOYING!

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with nitty-gritty moments in movies. But Marvel had the common sense to know that when they're doing adult movies about guys flying around in their underwear, you have to throw in some levity and jokes into your movies.

I've heard some people say they like Ben Affleck better than Christian Bale as the new Batman. I have to say, thank Geebus Christian Bale didn't take the role as Batman. He deserved better than this. Ben Affleck tries his best to give Batman that prescence and character, but I kept seeing Batman more as a petulant man-child in a costume than the wise, cool Batman we've all grown to love over the years. There's absolutely no motivation for Batman fighting Superman, and the fight is extremely one-sided and is just mostly watching Superman get the crap beaten out of him. The motivation for their fight is completely nonsensical and seems more like a fanfiction in writing quality.

And the movie takes itself so STUPIDLY seriously! It's basically a fanfiction fight between two superheroes! How can you be possibly taking it seriously?! I felt no investment in the characters because nothing is properly explained, the narrative is garbage and the movie is all over the place all the time like it's on LSD. The CG is horrendous too. Filled with seizure-inducing flashy images that feel so artificial that all immersion is lost.

And the movie just goes on... and ON... AND ON!! GOD IT WOULDN'T STOP! Why is every single DC movie so endlessly long? All I felt was what a horrendous waste of money this movie was. And the movie is so proud of itself.. The music felt so self-absorbed in it's own self-imagined magnificence that I just wanted to punch this movie..

I wrote this after seeing the movie, but I've also heard that critics hate it. I am so relieved it has been badly received, but sadly, it broke box office records the opening weekend.

But personally, I am done with DC... Man of Steel stunk and Batman vs Superman was somehow even worse.

I don't like destructive criticsism towards movies that aren't that bad.

I hear the Justice League movie is bad. I guess not even Joss Whedon could salvage it.Β

It won't be like Marvel though. Besides, I'm tired of Marvel. WAAAAAY too many jokes. And they get less and less funny with every movie.

Well, Whedon can still do great things when the execs don't hold him back, like in Age of Ultron. Nearly every one of the movie's flaws can be traced back to executive decisions rather than directorial ones (the Hulk vs Iron Man fight, for one. Apparently, it was dragged out at execs' behest).Β

Well what were you expecting? A dance in a magic garden like Marvel? If you watched real life and lived in it like I do, you'd quickly realize that real life is more like DC movies then marvel movies. Also you're to biased towards marvel and disney. Let me tell you something about Disney. They are the biggest underachievers in hollywood. They just have good publicists. But everything Disney and Marvel has done, I've seen done a million times better by others.

My brother was excited for this movie at first last year, but when the second trailer came out. It killed his interest and hype for it for a good reason. One day, he recommended me to see it, and I watched bits of it, and I didn't really care for it, so it's not that good or that bad. It's just that ending that gets me because we all have to see Superman die for somewhat reason. I dunno, probably, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will be better than this movie, even though I never saw it before, I really do need to see this Teen Titans film.

It's dc strider you can't expect do to make you laugh the same way marvel does (unless it's something like teen titans or suicide squad)

V for Vendetta don't have humor and it's great, just like (almost Logan. BTW, could you review Logan please?). The only annoying character for me was Lex Luthor (AKA, second Joker), who had a miraculous plan just like Zemo (another bad character in movie). I just thought

Superman could've been more bright and Happy. In the present days, we Live in a world so dark and sad and we need Beacon of light and S (hope).

Batman was great, old, exausted and badass (of course, I didn't like the fact he kills but in the early ages he killed people and used guns so it's OK).

The fight was awesome. Not perfect, but awesome. Also, if you analyze the Martha scene with other Eyes, maybe you can understand some Deep thoughts.

The biggest flow: DC almost revealed everything on the trailers! Doomsday, Wonder Woman... Goddamnit! The soundtrack is The best thing about the movie, also.

BvS isn't the best Hero movie and wasn't the way to make Batman and Superman met for the first time but it's far from Being the worst Hero movie (Batman and Robin? Iron Man 3? Origins: Wolverine? Catwoman?) and didn't deserved to won the Razzies. Suicide Squad, however, could've been an awesome movie but was THE Shit. BvS: 7.5/10

I think my biggest complaint is what Doug Walker said in his review of the movie.

It's trying too hard to be WAY too many things, when Batman Vs Superman would have been MORE then enough!

That, and Jessie Eisinberg. Idc if I misspelt that, I could care less if this actor were to never star in another movie at this point!

I haven't even seen this movie! And after watching Dougs' review and your summary of it, I don't think I'm going to! I MAY watch it, but only out of morbid curiosity! Plus, I liked Man Of Steel, so I still think DC can make some good movies. But they were trying WAY too hard to copy Marvel on this one!

Oh, and on a side note, I LOVE your content! I look forward to more amazing work in the future. ^.^

Oh right, because of the action scenes and the fact that it's a superhero movie.

For All the Reasons you listed, this was a bad film.Β

Batman and Robin, at least, seemed to know how cheesy it was. It didn't even Try to hide it. And I can always get a laugh out of the Bat Credit Card and Arnold Schwarzenegger's bad Ice Puns. It was at least as enjoyable as watching Birdemic or Troll 2.Β

This is one of those things I knew would be bad from the trailer. Batman and Superman are mismatched buddies, you're not supposed to take them THIS seriously. Also, I really didn't like Eisenberg's take on Luthor. He's just way too goofy for someone who's supposed to be a criminal mastermind.Β

I hear that the Director's Cut is gonna have a scene that show's Bruce Wayne's ass in the shower. I'm not kidding. Why would they even bother? It's not necessary. It'll be Batman & Robin all over again if you know what I mean.

1. When you put the two most important superheroes of all time, it's a safe bet of becoming a blockbuster. But at least do it well, damn! The guys at Marvel try to put all the effort they can.

2. Nowadays breaking records is so easy it means nothing.

3. Man of Steel was awful and I'm too coward to see this (haven't watched Fantastic Four yet and I don't dare).

4. Suicide Squad is the last chance for DC. They fail, I won't bother to see their future projects. I'll stick to their animation because they do that right.

You didn't see Man of Steel, but you hated it instead, that's rather biased. I think MoS is much better than FF. Suicide Squad wasn't perfect, but I think you are being too biased for all the wrong reasons.
