Oh man, it's been years since I've done fan art for The Sight. Talk about nostalgia!

Quick note: the words on the bottom are Morgra's words when she cursed the pack; "fear and guilt, here begun; let them break you, one by one."

One thing about the book that's always bothered me was that all of the original pack was killed off, except the Fell, Kar, Larka, Palla, and Huttser.

I mean, the verse said "Only a family both loving and true/may conquer the evil, so ancient, so new." And yet, most of that family- Brassa, Khaz, Kiphka, and Bran- were all cut down so soon. It seemed a little too convenient to me; like, the author just had them killed off so he wouldn't have to deal with so many characters.

The Sight would have been a much better book if David Clement-Davies had kept the original pack as the main protagonists. If I had written the book, I would have focused more on their struggle to protect Larka from Morgra, not murder all of the characters we started out with just to settle on the character with the powers.

Besides, Larka wasn't very interesting- she was just another Christ figure. The older characters were much more real than she was.

I still like the book and all, don't get me wrong, but I had to get this off my chest. :/

So here are the deaths of the main pack, as well as the "cursing scene" in the top left and bottom right corners.

This drawing is complete crap, btw. I started it over a month ago and had to beat myself over the head with a shovel to finish it. xD
